Hi, I’m Tabea – a Game Developer with extensive experience as a Music Producer, Pianist, Composer, Arranger and Singer Songwriter. I have a degree in Popular Music (B.Mus from HMTM Hannover), where I specialised in Composition and Production.

Cozy Tea Corner in the game Adventurers' Advocate

Brief

Adventurers‘ Advocate is a narrative fantasy puzzle game. A cozy stay-at-home adventure with plenty of food for thought.

The music for Adventurers‘ Advocate was meant to convey the cozy, warm atmosphere of the game. The style for the EP was supposed to be Pop Music – but with Renaissance and Medieval instrumentation. For the Main Theme I could expand on the same instrumentation with more traditional cinematic orchestration to convey a magical, hopeful mood.

Brief

Die Näherinnen is an experimental game about reconstructing unrecorded history. Players operate a real vintage sewing machine and experience one day in the life of a German seamstress in the late 19th century.

I created a Rhythm Track as a guideline for players‘ sewing. It consists entirely of sewing machine sounds and other crafting noises. I also wrote, performed, and produced the Music which was meant to seamlessly transition from the rhythm track and capture the hopeful melancholy and hardships of everyday working women of that time.

Brief

One Bar Wonder or the Mighty Feeling of Musical Superiority is a Pack My Suitcase meets Guitar Hero multiplayer party extravaganza. Players compete for points by showcasing their creativity and rhythmical prowess.

I created about 40 different instrument packs for the gameplay, each consisting of 3-4 samples that sound quirky and fit with the light-hearted party atmosphere of the game. All of the UI and other in-game sound assets are made up of various bar-atmosphere related sounds to fit the art direction of our game: cocktail stirring, glass jingles, chairs scraping, etc.
